Today, urban logistics is faced with significant growth in e-commerce and new ecological challenges, which require, among other things, reflection on the use of green delivery methods and their involvement. La Poste Group, leader in the urban parcel market, has been operating a fleet of electrically assisted cargo bikes for parcel delivery in the city center of Bordeaux since October 2020. The aim of this experiment is to evaluate the operational and environmental performance of bike logistics compared to motorized delivery vehicles.
